Freakin Cool.

Great article on The Movie Fanatic.

Stephenie’s entire personality seems to filter down into her writing and her relationship with her fans. Somehow, she is able to juggle being a star author and a mom at the same time, and write books that are not only entertaining, but strikingly clean in an age of widespread media immorality. She has said she would never write something she wouldn’t want her own kids to read. And because she treats her readers like her family, they defend her like their own. Woe to the blogger who says something against Twilight. The hounds of hell hath no fury like a band of fighting Twilighters.

Stephenie’s fans love her not only because she gives them exactly what they want in her books, but because she is still there, accessible, normal, and answering fan questions, whilst at the same time getting photos snapped for a spot on TIME’s Most Influential People of 2008 list. There is a feeling of knowing her even if you’ve never met before— a feeling that on the inside, she is still just like you.

Film School Rejects: This guy, Cole, read Twilight and LIKED it! Check it out and leave the dude some praise! ;)

She Knows had some good stuff to say about Twilight!

OK, if you haven't found this dude, already - what's wrong with you?? ;) The most recent entry on Twilight Guy is HILARIOUS!

That's all for now . . . the whole post-production part of the movie STINKS! That is, until the interviews (with Robert Pattinson, particularly) begin . . . ;)

Video from the signing!

Kallie and I are the first people you see in the video - Kallie says "Ta Da!" LOL!

VIDEO!

She talked to me!

HA!
Sm10Stephenie Meyer visited my little city of Frisco (Dallas) today! We had sweet seats in the front row. I must say . . . waiting in line for 12 hours was more than worth it! :) The event was sold out, which means there was about 1,000 people there!

Anyway, she answered a lot of the "same old" questions. (People - read the online interviews before you ask questions! It wastes everyone's time and robs us of new info! LOL!) One that I hadn't heard that she answered was why Jane hates Alice. The answer wasn't a surprise to me - it's pretty much what I assumed. JEALOUSY! Aro has been eying and raving about Alice for years, when Jane was his first "golden child". Makes sense that she'd be jealous!

I wish she would have pulled my question! (If you haven't finished the Host, don't read this!) I asked if the love triangle hadn't been resolved by the end of the book, if Wanda would have gone with Ian or Jared. Or even just suffered and stayed alone.

When I got to Steph she said "Hi Amy!" and then started signing my books. I told her that I loved the Host and that I might even like it more than Twilight! She looked up and said "Oh THANK you!" Like she was really relieved, and her publicist, Elizabeth, said "YES! Ding ding ding!" Steph said "We need a little bell up here for when people say that!" So it seems like Steph is really nervous about people's reactions to the Host. So shoot her some love on the Host, y'all! Her MySpace is http://myspace.com/stephenie_meyer.

SWEET!

The book is getting local press! And even more awesome, my buddies at Twilight Series Theories got some press, too!! YEAH!!
